Anna & Javier’s Engagement

Annmarie & Javier immediately impressed us with their shared excitement for photography. But we had no idea how much excitement we ourselves would feel as we did when photographing their engagement session. I am rarely left without words, but I think this time I’ll let the images speak for themselves with this little sneak peek. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

Anna & Javier, thank you SO MUCH for spending the time with us. What an amazing session we had with you! You are each beautiful people. Your affection and passion for one another shows so clearly. It’s going to be such an amazing privilege to photograph your wedding day at Round Hill.

Look for their complete engagement gallery in the “Client Proofs” area of our main website. We love hearing from our readers, so please leave us a note by clicking on the “Comments” link at the top of this blog entry.

  • Ulysses - Hey there, Jess! Thank you so much for commenting. That photo is one of my personal faves, too, as it’s one of those images from the day that I actually “hunted” for. First off, the conditions were not optimal for shooting in infrared when we initially began. We were actually about to wind up our session with a short walk to another area of the park, when the clouds began to part, and I started to develop a VERY good feeling about what was about to happen. We stopped only about midway to our destination. My guess is that they didn’t realize at the time why I was so excited. As I’m sure you know, the version on the blog here only hints at how completely gorgeous this photo would be in a large print. I was genuinely excited and then moved by it.

Thanks for picking that one out! It’s always great to hear from you.May 16, 2008 – 11:28 PM
