A Day In Paris – 3

There is a dark underground tunnel giving pedestrians access to the base of the Arc de Triomphe. This tunnel served as the location for our next fashion session. The concrete texture of the walls provided texture, and the low lighting provided a sense of mystery.

I love the look of longing in Jenni’s green eyes, juxtaposed against my mostly hidden features in this image. A sense of the luxury of times gone by is conveyed by her fur stole as well as the black hat. What is she supposed to be thinking here? And where am I going? That’s the fun of it, and I love making up stories in my own mind when it comes to images like this. Sometimes during our engagement sessions or our brides’ fashion sessions, we’ll ask you to pose a certain way perhaps because we’re “creating a story” with your pictures.

Make up your own story about this photo and share it with us by leaving a comment! 🙂

  • Ulysses - Ahhhh, yes… 😀

“A man of high character”…… “the love of her life”…. I’m enjoying all of these words because OBVIOUSLY Jenni is going to be the center of attention in all the photos! I’ve got to scrape together as many of her crumbs as I can. Hahahah! 😀

She was just gorgeous in each and every shot she took. Jenni is NOT a fan of the cold and the wind, so some of these don’t at all reflect how much work she put into the sessions. But that’s a good thing! A great photo simply shows the beauty and none of the work. 🙂February 21, 2007 – 12:50 PM

  • Nicole - I see a woman longing for the love of her life. They have just spent the day together and now he must leave, but she is not disapointed, she is joyful that they were able to share a short romatic interlude.February 17, 2007 – 1:48 PM

  • Marie & Sal - I see a beautiful exquisite women enchanted by a man of high character. Sometimes you only need to see so much to grasp an intense moment. Simply lovely!February 16, 2007 – 1:14 PM

  • Ulysses - Jesyca, you know what’s interesting? I could SO see you and Bill doing this shot together… very 1940s Hollywood in feel. 🙂

Looking forward to hearing more good news from you guys!February 16, 2007 – 12:19 AM

  • Ulysses - Oh, you’re not going to get away that easily, because Jenni and I both KNOW that you’re a great story teller and maker-upper, Jess. C’mon, look again and tell us a short story. 🙂February 15, 2007 – 4:16 PM

  • Jessica Johnston - I don’t have a story, but Jenni, you look so fab!
