This little boy had so much energy during the shoot. He just absolutely loves life, and you can see how much his mama loves him.
We picked some dandelion flowers to keep him entertained. He loved the white puffs. He wasted no time in pulling off all the flower heads, but it kept him happy and content.
This is one of our absolute favorite mom and baby portraits ever. The black and white processing of the photo is perfection. The removal of the color allows you to just take in the scene and the emotion. You can literally feel the love this mom has for her baby boy. He is her entire world.
You can tell from the baby's expression that he is relaxed and happy. He loves being in his mom's arms, and he has completely forgotten about the camera. I love natural-feeling photos like this. When the subjects do not seem aware of the camera, it feels unforced. You get the feeling that you are looking in on a private and personal moment between this mother and son.
